The Process

Every piece is made in small numbers, with quality, material choice, and long-term use in mind.

Alongside small leather objects, Reginald Parker undertakes private commissions where fit, finish, and restraint matter more than scale.

Materials

Vegetable-tanned and soft leathers are sourced from established European tanneries and selected for their ageing characteristics, feel, and suitability to the intended use.

We use leathers chosen based on the final product's required qualities. We use embossed full-grain cowhide offering the look of exotic leather without using exotic skins. This embossed cowhide is waste from the meat industry.

Pattern & Construction

Each piece begins with pattern work, refined through test pieces where required.

Seams, stitch placement, and construction methods are considered to ensure both longevity and subtlety.

We favour traditional methods not for nostalgia, but because they produce a better result. Each piece is cut, assembled, and hand saddle stitched individually, allowing for a level of precision, durability, and character that cannot be replicated by mass production.

All of the small leather goods are entirely handmade from every step, from cutting to hand stitching.

Finish

Edges are finished by hand, and stitching is adjusted to suit material thickness and structure.

Components are assembled to maintain shape and integrity through regular use.

Private Commissions

Alongside small leather objects, Reginald Parker undertakes private commissions on a limited, project-led basis.

This work is typically focused on small interior automotive components and bespoke leather pieces.

Projects are discussed and quoted individually to ensure the right approach, materials, and outcome.
